Homeschool Clay Classes  - New Sessions Postponed

Due to Covid-19, all in-person classes have been postponed.

Online Classes by ZOOM are in the works.

Please email us for details.

Cracked Earth Studio is continuing classes for the homeschool community!

Through step-by-step instruction, students will create works of art using pinch, coil and slab techniques.  A slab roller, molds, wood block & assorted stamps and other tools are used to facilitate the process of turning a lump of clay into a work of art.  Students will also learn to use a slab roller and a pug mill to manipulate and recycle clay.

Price includes everything from the supplies and clay to the glazes and two firings. Please come prepared to get a little messy and to create delightful works of functional art.

Classes are taught by a seasoned instructor with nearly four decades of teaching experience. If you are interested in a different time or day for you and your homeschool friends, we can be flexible.

"We absolutely LOVE Pat and Cracked Earth Studio!  Her homeschool clay classes have been a highlight of our year.  Pat has a wealth of wisdom, and she creates such a wholesome, fun and loving learning environment.  My daughter was so proud and nourished by the beautiful pottery pieces she has made, and all of the skills she learned with Pat this year.  We will be signing up for every clay class she offers in the years to come!"  Anita B.
